  Stress of Going to a Summer Convention

  spotted this picture on a friend's page, he was highlighting the mental health issue.

  however,we thought the magazine on stress was deliberately placed in the summer months because for any jw going to a convention, paying high season hotel rates for themselves or their whole family to stay near the convention centre, fighting coworkers and managers to get the time off work, travelling expenses, buying their own meals for the family, buying new shiny suits and dresses to impress (particularly if you have teenage girls who are looking for their prince), and more.... by the time they come home again and straight away back to work, their nerves will be so frazzled that their stress levels will have sky rocketed!.

  It was mentioned on here I think before.. But if you to the Convention, there could be a way to obtain a program and make it look like you have a Convention badge.

  Showing your face without a badge,,,you have target on you.

  Dreading the memorial

  hey.

  does anyone else dread attending (in person or on zoom) the memorial months in advance?.

  literally as soon as new year hits, i feel sick and super anxious, and i've realised it's because of the memorial, which i only attend because of family, who kinda tell me the reason they have bad health is cuz i left the jw sevel years ago..

  If you show your face at the memorial, certain eldubs may 'befriend' you and come over and talk to you, in a smarmy, condescending tone. They could, most likely will try to arrange a shepperding call or drop in visit(s) in the weeks to follow.

  Prediction of Watchtower in a Few Years

  kingdom halls will be the thing of the past.. conventions (mini assembly halls will still be going on) but will charge for attending and parking and always a donation.

  elders will play a much smaller role since csa.

  cart preaching will replace door to door.

  They will reinvent themselves by becoming more insular and utilizing the internet more with the broadcasts and streamlining.

  Look for a further reduction of printed material and properties.

  We're talking about a multi-billion dollar company here. It will not just go away overnight. A multi-billion dollar company has all kinds of things at it's disposal.

  Mind control is effective way to manipulate people for time, energy and money.

  Yes. They still have these 'badges'.

  And the Borg vehemently advises attendees to wear them to and fro the convention site, while eating, at the gas station. The only exception to wearing these 'badges' is going to bed at night or taking a shower or bath.

  why are we interested in what is going on in the JW

  for the most of us, we have left the jws...and even though we are no longer jw, many of us are still interested in their beliefs, doctrines and practices as currently practiced.

  i was trying to sort out in my mind why i still care about what they are doing.

  i think the answer to that is a hope that something will develop in the jws that will wake up a lot of others, and selfishly, a lot of my friends.

  Maybe the Borg never seen the internet age coming. And the Borg is being exposed for what it really is. A hateful organization, breaking-up families and what not.

  Maybe lurkers or people stumbling on here can learn something.

  If you would stay at a room not on the WT convention list,,,it would just amaze me how if you mentioned one of the Hotel establishments NOT on the Borg's list,,,,one of the sheeple would jump up and say ''that's not on the hotel list'' without even looking at the list.

  It's like they new the list like the back of their hand.

  Maybe most of us are interested in the Borg because the Borg is now reaping the byproducts of it's stance against education, blood doctrine, two witness rule and shunning policies. Just to name a few of the controversial and harmful pracitices.

  Ahhh, just pray more, go in FS more and read more WT literature.

  That's what every eldub is programmed to believe is the end all to peoples problems.

  There was a wonderful youtube channel about this a few years ago, I forget his name, he talked about this.

    Because that's just the control the Borg has over it's sheeple. They are so controlled to listen and hold their ears to the ground of only what the borg is spewing.

    That's the problem with censorship. It curtails humans from knowing facts which they are entitled to. Which the borg has nailed down to perfection.
